Description: Consortium of 9 European companies, R&D institutes and universities on microsystem foundry services, belonging to the EUROPRACTICE network.
Offers: Complete service package for the development and production of new products, design and engineering services, prototyping and manufacturing services, packaging and system integration, surface functionalisation and/or modification, specific CoventorWare™ software modules, training and education.
STIMESI
Description: Consortium of 6 European companies and institutes, established with the goal of stimulating European universities and research institutes to adopt MEMS and SiP technologies, in close cooperation with EUROPRACTICE network.
Offers: Training and Education.
Vestfold University College
Description: Norwegian academic and technological centre and one of the medium-sized university colleges in Norway, with 2300 full-time student equivalents.
Offers: Training courses, layout support, simulations, design verifications and design rules check, contract research in microsystems technology, with packaging as focused fields of expertise.
SINTEF ICT
Description: Norwegian research institute. The Department of Microsystems and Nanotechnology has performed numerous feasibility studies and designed various microdevices, including inertial sensors (accelerometers, gyroscopes), gas sensors (microacoustic, photoacoustic, microoptical), a variety of pressure sensors and microfluidic/biomedical elements (flow sensors, lab-on-chip systems, ultrasonic devices).

COREP
Description: A non-profit consortium composed of Piedmont universities, entrepreneurial associations and several important industrial players, established in 1987 to enable collaboration initiatives between the universities, services and production sectors, and the local public institutions in technological transfer and high level advanced training.
Offers: Education and training support, promotion of joint activities among industry, local institutions and universities.
Tronics Microsystems
Description: Tronics Microsystems is a flexible, private, mid-size company that develops and reliably manufactures custom MEMS components for demanding applications. It is a spun off from CEA-LETI, the largest MEMS R&D center in Europe, in 1997.
Offers: Unique expertise in manufacturing custom MEMS components on SOI, know-how and experience in building supply chains for MEMS components.
thinXXS Microtechnology
Description: thinXXS Microtechnology develops, produces and distributes micro-structured components and systems made of plastics. The company's expertise comprises design and engineering, mold and tool fabrication, micromolding in high volumes, assembly, etc.
